Rising Star Resource Development Corporation (Rising Star) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. Through our contract services mission, we are a self-sustaining social enterprise. We provide training and skill development to people with disabilities, those with barriers to employment, and our veterans.

We achieve our social mission through supportive and integrated employment by securing and fulfilling service contracts. These new employment opportunities help our candidates reach their career aspirations and financial stability.

SourceAmerica’s Mentor-Protégé Program Under the AbilityOne Program

To expand job opportunities for professionals with disabilities, and as an authorized AbilityOne Nonprofit Agency, Rising Star is a Protégé participating in SourceAmerica’s Mentor-Protégé Program Under the AbilityOne Program. This initiative enables large for-profit companies to be Mentors to nonprofits in order to collaborate on securing and fulfilling federal government contracts.
