Michael Shea is a part-time corporate resource for Rising Star Corporation. Since 1974, Michael has built a distinguished career in banking, manufacturing, and technology, holding executive roles in companies like Girard/Mellon Bank, Affiliated Computer Systems, GTech Corporation, and BizNet Software, Inc. His positions have included Vice President, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He has also successfully started and sold two companies, and worked as a consultant and executive coach. Michael is a dedicated community volunteer, having served on committees for the City of Plano, Texas, and on numerous non-profit boards, including The Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind and The Metroplex Technology Business Council. Currently, he volunteers as a reserve corrections officer for the Collin County Sheriff’s Office. Michael is a graduate of Colorado College and the Wharton School of Business Graduate Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
